The Christians at West Fayetteville are determined to serve the Lord on His terms. "Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him" (Colossians 3:17, NKJV) This command deals with the issue of authority. We are not at liberty to teach or practice that which is in conflict with the will of God. Therefore, the church of Christ at West Fayetteville has organized itself according to the pattern which is found on the pages of the New Testament.
